This is a really interesting idea. Combined with the title it makes a very good piece. The idea of love as a game, love being sharp, messy, fun, comes across in this picture. Technically this is pretty good. The background is warm and angle of the shot is eye-catching. The wood grain provides a nice way to direct the eye from the bottom-right, into the heart and then out the top-left. Color and light-wise I have a few concerns. This shot looks a little underexposed. That may have been intentional, but if not, try bracketing when taking shots like this. The table is almost too red. It's bordering outside of comfortable and into something more aggressive - or perhaps playful. Also, there's something a little off with the color of the sticks. I'm having a hard time deciding if it's the lighting or something that was done in post, but the sticks aren't crisp or round, they are just there. That may have been a stylistic choice. The stick on the bottom-right, protruding into the heart is a bit distracting as it interferes with the wood.

A nice piece overall. Good work.
