But what I want to mention beside the vision which makes photos like this so stunning is the technique. I really like the lightning and the smoke as well as the bookeh. You did a good job as model and director of the scene. Yep, I use the word director by purpose because this photo could also be a snapshot of a moviescene. You arranged things well without making them look to arranged and create an own athmosphere.
I m a cultural anthropologist and wrote my bachelorthesis about facebook which is a perfect example for a culture of self-staging and so Im used to a lot of literature and photos, critical drawings and so on about this phenomena. What I really like on your way of thinking about this issue of a culturephenomena is that you show the way of behaving in front of the camera without pointing with the finger. You give the viewer the chance to come up with own thoughts. Well I could continue for quite some time but I guess or hope that you got my point. You did an great job Nicholas. Keep up the great and thoughtful work
