I was heading into a lot of different directions with this photo. Different directions in the sense of compared to what I used to do. Of course - it is still a classic I already did some times, a beautiful girl, an expression, hair floating ... I actually like Emotive Portraits. A lot of people call them "boring" and "too simple", as they don't really express something, but I like how you can catch a mood or emotion on a photo this way and just give an impression, not an expression.
But the "different directions" I was speaking of are more likely technical directions. I took this with a higher aperture and a lower shutter speed, instead of taking the photo already well-exposed, the photo was a little too bright in the first place, but with some post-processing I darkened it a little and I think it's well-exposed now. Furthermore, I used different curves and layers for the colors and the contrast ... I think I am quite proud of it.
More photos of that shooting will follow the next days, they are very different to this one, but since this photo wasn't the actual goal of this shooting, I'll submit both of them.
