You have managed to take a simple concept that many people attempt, and have executed it in a very effective and impacting way. You've created a space for yourself that speaks of you, the subject. The black and white of this serves to hone in the viewer's attention to the subject, despite the busy space within which you are placed.
I applaud you for framing your entire head within the white of the window, the placement of your hands, and for the exquisitely delicate expression that you have captured. I am glued to this photo.
What is going on?! I disappear for more than a year and you start growing facial hair?! Nothing makes sense to me anymore!
Haha! Just kidding! But I am really surprised about your facial hair. It suits you.
Yeah, I've been away for a long time, which I feel horrible about, but I'm back with a vengeance and hopefully I won't disappear again (unless my brain implodes, or something).
I quickly browsed through all your stuff that I've missed (and boy did I miss a lot), and I must say your work has really grown up. A certain essence you've always had is still there, but in a more mature context. I also see that you've done a lot of photo-manipulation in some of your work, which looks fantastic.
I really look forward to the work you are yet to produce!
I hope you still remember me though, otherwise this comment is extremely awkward. Very awkward, indeed.
wow. Wie geht es dir Niko? now you've got facial hair all over, "that guy" on the photo didn't look like you at all!
every time your logs pop up on my tumblr dashboard, your writings keep me thinking that time seems to fly really fast. This photo kinda reminds me that aside from time; people, our directions, the way we talk, what we talk about, the way we treats other people, the way we view the world- each and little by little is rotating, somehow..
