First let me say that the figure laying down is totally wicked! Love the floating effect. At first I was reminded of the movie Village of the Damned. (I think that was the title.) It had the blond haired blue eyed children in it. This looked like the same children, a bit grown up. I mean this in a very positive way. Something about the standing figures that look as if they are standing guard of the figure in repose. If this image were the the catalyst for a suspense movie, I would be interested in seeing it! The imagery is just awesome.
I love how still the piece is. Now I know this is photography, so obviously, the image isn't moving. However, usually my imagination can make pieces move, and that's what brings them to life. But when I use this as a window, I see a bunch of pale, waxed, dolls, which is what I'm sure you were going for. They seem to wander about without any real purpose, though I wonder what the one in the far back is doing with his hand. Then there is the one hovering from the ground. I find this eerie, yet quite interesting.
